Staci Claunch

Southwest Regional Director

Mom, wife, Veteran who served in Iraq and in Afghanistan, professional firearms instructor.

As a firearms enthusiast, I truly enjoy the sport, however my real passion is training and working with women who are new to the sport. I am a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army, and served in Baghdad and Afghanistan.

In 2017, I started the Well Armed Woman Southern Arkansas Chapter, because there were no shooting groups for women here locally.  To further my education with firearms, I became an Instructor for TWAW, NRA Instructor, NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, NRA Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor, Chief Range Safety Officer, USCCA Instructor and Arkansas CHCL Instructor.

Earlier this year, I was elected to serve on the Board of Directors at Mountain Valley Sportsman’s Association, where I serve as Venue Chair over the women’s programs, Ladies On Target and the Well Armed Woman Chapter.  I also serve as the Southwest Regional Director for Women for Gun Rights. More recently, my competitive side took me to the International Defensive Pistol Association, where I can enhance my shooting skills.

When I’m not teaching or training, I’m a mama to 3 beautiful children!
